Marylène Gagné (PhD University of Rochester) is a professor of I/o psychology at the School of Psychology, University of Western Australia. Her research examines how organizations, through their structures, cultures, rewards, tasks, and managerial/leadership styles, affect people’s motivational orientations, and also examines the consequences of these orientations for individual and organizational performance, and for individual mental health. She is the recipient of many research awards, and has published many articles in organizational behavior and psychology journals, which have been cited over 4000 times. She currently serves as associate editor for the European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology and on many other editorial boards.
