Prof Pillow is co-Director of the Preterm CRE and is a world leader in the area of neonatal respiration and ventilation. She has research interests in preclinical testing of novel ventilation strategies and treatments for preterm infants and has recently established the Preclinical Intensive Care Research Unit to include a chronic ventilation model to test novel ventilation strategies and therapies.
