Parwinder Kaur is working as a Research Associate in Centre for Plant Genetics and Breeding (PGB) at UWA.
She has been involved in the Sub-clover genomics project since 2011, received the Science and Innovation Award for young people in Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry in 2013 and produced the world first genome scaffold for subterranean clover using the de-novo sequencing pipelines and a high resolution genetic map for trait mapping.
She has been working with a team of researchers across various disciplines to develop methodologies to enable breeders to identify environmentally friendly pasture legume to tackle future challenges for Australian livestock industries.
