Ben is an honours student at UWA, focusing on liver progenitor cells and their behavior, in particular, the cultivation of these liver progentiro cells to see their transformation into cancerous cells. The aim of this project is to be able to cultivate LPC’s in-vitro without allowing them to turn cancerous, which then can be transferred into patients, without needing to have the hassle of liver transplant, rejection or others.
