Dr Dino Spagnoli

My research can be classified into two distinct areas: Computational Chemistry and Chemical Education.

My research in the field of Computational Chemistry involves applying computer simulation techniques to study the processes that occur at the mineral-water interface, which include adsorption of species and pollutants to mineral surfaces, dissolution, crystal growth, and aggregation.
In the field of Chemical Education I am interested in developing strategies to better prepare students for the laboratory sessions.
