Shino Konishi is a senior lecturer in the School of Humanities and the School of Indigenous Studies at UWA. She specialises in Indigenous history and has a particular interest in encounters between European explorers and travellers and Aboriginal people. Her latest publication is the co-edited collection Brokers and Boundaries: Colonial Exploration in Indigenous Territory (ANU Press, 2016).
